Notes:
1 – Most
/ all / none / neither / many / few… + of + which / whom
Ex: Daisy has

2 – Use THAT after SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES:
the best…/the most…/the biggest…
Ex: He is the
most intelligent student that I’ve ever known.

3 – Use THAT after all, only, the first, the last,
few, very, someone, somebody, anyone, anything…
Ex: I bought the
only book that they had.
|
4 – THAT can’t be used after prepositions, comma ( , ) and names of
people or places (Mr.Pike,
Ex: My father,
who is 50 years old, is a doctor.
|
5 – Use WHICH as a connector to refer to the
whole of the early clause à …, WHICH…..
Ex: She didn’t
come to my party, which made me sad.
|
B. Relative clauses with
prepositions:
…whom / which …+ preposition = …preposition + whom / which…
I. Relative clauses replaced by participles (Ving / Ved / V3)
